Saint Mary’s National School moved to a new building which they believed gave them a fresh start. While I worked at akgraphics they approached us to come up with a new logo for the primary school to freshen up their identity. They wanted the new brand to be fun and appeal to children. The resulting logo design gives the school the fun identity that they set out for.
Using a mixture of custom infographics, illustration and photography, we created a colourful brochure to promote the opening day of the new school building for Saint Mary’s Church of Ireland National School. In designing for the educational sector, it is important to appeal to all ages. The illustrations were designed to appeal to the children attending the opening day. The bespoke infographics also caught the attention of the children and having them reading at a different angle added a fun, interactive element to the school brochure design. This design project was so well received that people of all ages kept a copy of this brochure as a memento of the day. We also designed the school identity which features on signage, stationery items and internal office material.
